Vivian Construction was proud to be appointed as the main contractor to build the Hawaiki Development for Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei, which consists of 24 townhouses. The Hawaiki Development features a mix of one, two, and  four-bedroom homes and builds on the success of our previous collaboration at Oneoneroa.

Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei have implemented an innovative ownership model, where they retain ownership of the land while whānau fund the build, creating more accessible pathways to home ownership in Auckland's , Ōrākei. This approach provides an opportunity for whānau to own homes in a suburb where private market prices can often be out of reach.

A significant milestone was achieved when Vivian Construction successfully handed over the townhouses just in time for the new owners to move in, two weeks before Christmas.
